Everything about your TradeDay subscription lives in your members dashboard at members.tradeday.com. Your billing date, payment method, account status, subscription type, next renewal date, and cancellation options—all accessible from one central location once you log in.

The dashboard interface changed significantly in 2025 when TradeDay restructured their evaluation programs and introduced multiple account types. If you signed up before mid-2024, your dashboard looks different than what new members see. But the core information is in the same place: top-right profile menu, "Membership" or "Subscription Details" section.

Paul from PropTradingVibes

Quick heads-up: This article is based on my real experience with TradeDay and the info available when I published/updated this. Things change in prop trading — rules, payouts, promos, all of it.

For the absolute latest, check TradeDay´s website or their faq page.

Here's what you can actually view and manage: active subscriptions (which evaluations you're paying for), billing cycle dates (when your next charge processes), payment method (credit/debit card ending in XXXX), subscription cost ($75-375/month depending on account type), and account status (Being Evaluated, Not Being Evaluated, Funded Sim, Funded Live).

What you can't see without contacting support: historical billing records beyond current cycle, exact timestamps of when billing processed, detailed payment receipts (you get email confirmations, but multi-month history isn't in dashboard), and refund or credit information (TradeDay doesn't refund, so this rarely matters).

Accessing Your Subscription Dashboard

Step 1: Log Into Members Area

Navigate to members.tradeday.com (not tradeday.com). Use your email and password that you created during signup. If you're using Tradovate or NinjaTrader, this is the same login you use to access your trading account.

Critical: Don't try logging in directly at tradovate.com or ninjatrader.com—those are broker logins separate from TradeDay. Your subscription details are only visible through TradeDay's member dashboard at members.tradeday.com.

Step 2: Navigate to Profile Menu

Once logged in, click your profile picture or username in the top-right corner of the dashboard. A dropdown menu appears with several options.

Menu Options (as of 2026):

  • Dashboard (main overview)
  • Subscriptions or Membership (billing information)
  • Profile Settings (email, password, personal info)
  • Support (submit tickets)
  • Cancel Membership (terminate subscription)

The exact wording varies—sometimes it says "Subscriptions," other times "Membership Details" or "Billing." Click whichever option relates to your account billing.

Step 3: View Subscription Details

This page displays all active subscriptions. If you have multiple evaluation accounts, each shows separately with its own billing information.

Example Display:

Account #1: $50K EOD Evaluation
Status: Being Evaluated
Monthly Cost: $105
Next Billing Date: February 14, 2026
Payment Method: Visa ****1234

[Manage Subscription] [Cancel]

If you're funded, the display changes:

Account #1: $50K Funded Sim
Status: Funded
Subscription: Ended on January 28, 2026
[No billing information - account is funded]

What Information You Can See

Current Subscription Type:

Your dashboard shows which evaluation you purchased: $50K/$100K/$150K, Intraday/EOD/Static. This confirms what you're paying for and what rules apply to your account.

If you have multiple active evaluations, each one lists separately. You can see at a glance: "I'm paying $105 for a $50K EOD and $165 for a $100K EOD = $270/month total."

Billing Cycle and Next Charge Date:

The dashboard displays your next renewal date—the day your subscription renews and your payment method gets charged. This is always 30 days from your last payment.

Example:

  • Signed up: January 14, 2026
  • First charge: January 14, 2026
  • Next renewal: February 13, 2026 (30 days later)
  • Following renewal: March 15, 2026 (30 days after that)

Your billing date doesn't change when you reset accounts after failures. If you violated on January 20 and reset, your February 13 renewal date stays the same. Resets don't alter billing cycles.

Payment Method:

You can see which credit or debit card is connected to your subscription: "Visa ****1234" or "Mastercard ****5678." This confirms which card gets charged every 30 days.

If your card expired or you want to switch payment methods, there's usually an "Update Payment Method" button or link. Clicking this lets you enter new card details before your next billing date.

Subscription Status:

Dashboard shows one of several status indicators:

  • "Being Evaluated" - Active evaluation in progress, billing continues monthly
  • "Not Being Evaluated" - Failed/violated evaluation, waiting for reset or renewal
  • "Funded Sim" - Passed evaluation, billing stopped, funded account active
  • "Funded Live" - Graduated from Funded Sim to Live account (rare)
  • "Canceled" - Subscription terminated, no access

Your current status determines what actions you can take. If status shows "Not Being Evaluated," you can purchase a reset for $99. If it shows "Funded Sim," you can request withdrawals once you've cleared your buffer zone.

Updating Your Payment Method

If your credit card expires or you want to switch payment methods, update it before your next billing date to avoid subscription interruption.

Update Process:

  1. Log into members.tradeday.com
  2. Click profile menu → Subscriptions
  3. Find your active subscription
  4. Click "Update Payment Method" or "Manage Subscription"
  5. Enter new card details (number, expiration, CVV)
  6. Save changes
  7. Confirmation appears: "Payment method updated successfully"

Important Timing:

Update payment methods at least 24 hours before your renewal date. TradeDay's billing system processes renewals automatically at midnight CT on your renewal date. If you update payment info at 11 PM the night before renewal, the new information might not save in time—the system could try charging your old expired card and your subscription could fail.

What Happens If Payment Fails:

If your card declines on renewal date (expired, insufficient funds, fraud block), TradeDay's system automatically retries the charge. You'll receive an email notification: "Your TradeDay subscription payment failed. Please update your payment method."

You typically have 48-72 hours to fix payment before your account fully locks. During this grace period, your evaluation access stays active but you can't place new trades. Once payment processes successfully, trading access restores immediately.

If you don't fix payment within the grace period, your subscription cancels and all evaluation progress is lost. You'd need to sign up for a new evaluation from scratch.

Checking If Your Subscription Is Active

Sometimes you need confirmation that billing is working correctly and your subscription is actually active.

Verification Steps:

1. Check Email Confirmations

Every time TradeDay charges your card, they send an email receipt to your registered email address. The subject line is typically "TradeDay Payment Confirmation" or "Your TradeDay Subscription Renewed."

Search your inbox (including spam/promotions folders) for emails from support@tradeday.com or billing@tradeday.com. If you received a payment confirmation within the last 30 days, your subscription is active.

2. Check Dashboard Status

Log into members.tradeday.com. If you can access the member dashboard and see your evaluation account with "Being Evaluated" status, your subscription is active. If subscription expired, you'd see "Subscription Ended" or lose access to the member area entirely.

3. Try Connecting to Trading Platform

Open Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or TradeDayX. Attempt to log in using your TradeDay credentials. If login succeeds and you can view your evaluation account with live market data, your subscription is active.

If subscription lapsed, the platform login fails with an error: "Account not eligible for trading" or "Subscription expired."

4. Check Your Credit Card Statement

View your credit card or bank statement. Look for charges from "TradeDay LLC" or "TradeDay Membership." If you see a charge within the last 30 days, billing processed successfully and subscription is active.

Finding Your Original Signup Date

Your original signup date determines your billing cycle. If you signed up January 14, all your renewals happen on the 14th of each month (or 30 days from previous billing).

How to Find Signup Date:

Check your email for the very first TradeDay confirmation email. When you signed up, TradeDay sent a welcome email: "Welcome to TradeDay" or "Your TradeDay Account is Ready." The date on that email is your signup date.

Alternatively, look at your first payment confirmation email. The date of your first charge is your signup date, which is also your first billing cycle start date.

If you can't find these emails, contact support@tradeday.com and ask for your account creation date. They can pull this from their system.

Why It Matters:

Knowing your billing cycle helps you plan evaluation resets. If your next renewal is 5 days away and you just failed evaluation, you can wait for the free reset rather than paying $99 for immediate reset. Without knowing your renewal date, you can't make this strategic decision.

Viewing Multiple Subscriptions

If you purchased multiple evaluation accounts, each one shows separately in your subscriptions dashboard with its own billing information.

Example Display with 3 Accounts:

Account #1: $50K Intraday Evaluation
Status: Being Evaluated
Monthly Cost: $75
Next Billing: Feb 14, 2026
[Manage] [Cancel]

Account #2: $100K EOD Evaluation
Status: Not Being Evaluated (violated)
Monthly Cost: $165
Next Billing: Feb 20, 2026
[Purchase Reset $99] [Cancel]

Account #3: $50K EOD Evaluation
Status: Funded Sim
Subscription Ended: Jan 28, 2026
[View Account]

This view lets you manage each subscription independently. You can cancel Account #2 while keeping #1 and #3 active. Or purchase a reset for #2 without affecting the others.

Combined Billing:

Even though each account displays separately, charges process on their individual billing cycles. If Account #1 renews on the 14th ($75) and Account #2 renews on the 20th ($165), you see two separate charges on your card rather than one combined $240 charge.

Canceling Your Subscription Through Dashboard

The "Cancel Membership" option in your profile menu or subscriptions page terminates your evaluation subscription immediately.

Cancellation Process:

  1. Log into members.tradeday.com
  2. Click profile menu → Cancel Membership (or Subscriptions → Cancel)
  3. Select which subscription to cancel (if you have multiple)
  4. Confirm cancellation (TradeDay asks "Are you sure?" to prevent accidental cancels)
  5. Confirmation appears: "Subscription canceled successfully"
  6. Email confirmation sent to your registered email

Immediate Effect:

Cancellation is instant. Within minutes:

  • Billing stops (no future charges)
  • Trading access terminates
  • Platform login stops working
  • Member dashboard access remains for 24-48 hours (view-only)
  • All evaluation progress erases permanently

You don't get refunded for unused days in your current billing cycle. If you cancel on Day 10 of 30, you lose the remaining 20 days you paid for.

What You Can't See in Dashboard

TradeDay's dashboard is comprehensive but not complete. Some information requires emailing support:

Historical Billing Records:

Dashboard shows current subscription and next billing date, but not detailed payment history beyond current cycle. If you need records of payments from 6 months ago for tax purposes, email support@tradeday.com and request billing history.

Discount Code Applied:

Dashboard doesn't display which promotion code you used at signup. If you forgot whether you used "NEWYEAR" or "NOFEE40," you can infer it from your monthly cost (40% discount = lower price), but the actual code name isn't shown.

Activation Fee Status:

After passing evaluation, you complete 4 setup steps. One is paying the $139 activation fee (unless waived by promo code). The dashboard shows Step 1 status (Complete/Incomplete) but doesn't explicitly state "Activation fee: WAIVED" or "Activation fee: $139 paid." You have to check your email confirmations or payment receipts to verify.

Reset Purchase History:

If you've purchased multiple paid resets ($99 each), the dashboard doesn't maintain a log of how many resets you bought or when. Each reset just shows as a separate transaction in email confirmations.

Checking Subscription Before Canceling

Before canceling your subscription, verify what you're actually canceling by checking dashboard information:

Pre-Cancellation Checklist:

  • Account status: Are you "Being Evaluated" (active), "Not Being Evaluated" (failed), or close to passing?
  • Profit progress: How close are you to hitting your profit target?
  • Trading days: Do you have 5+ days completed or are you on Day 2?
  • Next billing date: Is renewal tomorrow (bad time to cancel) or in 25 days (might want to finish evaluation first)?

If you're on Day 20 of evaluation with $2,800 profit toward a $3,000 target, canceling now wastes 20 days of progress and the $75-165 you already paid. Better to finish the last $200, pass, and never pay again.

If you're on Day 3 with $100 profit and hating the experience, cancel now before Day 30 renewal charges you another full month.

Mobile Access to Subscription Details

TradeDay's member dashboard is mobile-responsive. You can check subscription details from your phone:

Mobile Access:

  1. Open mobile browser (Safari, Chrome)
  2. Navigate to members.tradeday.com
  3. Log in with credentials
  4. Tap profile icon → Subscriptions
  5. View all same information as desktop

The Tradovate mobile app also shows account status, but doesn't display billing details. For actual subscription management (viewing billing dates, updating payment, canceling), use the members.tradeday.com website on mobile browser.

FAQ: Checking Subscription Details

Where do I see my next billing date?

Log into members.tradeday.com, click your profile menu, select "Subscriptions" or "Membership Details." Your next billing date displays next to each active subscription.

How do I know if my payment went through?

Check your email for payment confirmation from TradeDay. They send receipts after every successful charge. Alternatively, check your credit card statement for "TradeDay LLC" charges.

Can I see my payment history for the past year?

Not in the dashboard. Email support@tradeday.com and request billing history. They can provide detailed payment records for tax or accounting purposes.

Why doesn't my dashboard show my discount code?

TradeDay doesn't display the specific promo code used at signup. You can see the discounted price (e.g., $75 instead of $125), which confirms a discount applied, but not the code name itself.

How do I update an expired credit card?

Log into members.tradeday.com → Subscriptions → Update Payment Method. Enter new card details at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid payment failures.

What if I have multiple accounts with different billing dates?

Each subscription displays separately in your dashboard with its own renewal date. TradeDay charges each account on its individual cycle—they don't combine into one charge.

Can I change my billing date?

No. Your billing date is set when you sign up and recurs every 30 days on that same date. The only way to change it is canceling your current subscription and purchasing a new evaluation on the date you want as your new billing day.

How do I know if my subscription canceled successfully?

You receive an immediate email confirmation: "Your TradeDay subscription has been canceled." Additionally, your dashboard status changes to "Canceled" and you lose platform access within minutes.
