Most successful TradeDay traders use mobile as monitoring/management tool rather than primary trading platform—checking positions during lunch breaks, closing trades while away from desk, or managing risk settings on-the-go. Mobile excels for swing positions and position management, struggles with high-frequency scalping and multi-contract strategies.

NinjaTrader's mobile app does NOT work with TradeDay accounts despite NinjaTrader desktop integration—only Tradovate mobile app connects to TradeDay evaluation and funded accounts. This is critical distinction: you can trade TradeDay on NinjaTrader desktop and Tradovate mobile simultaneously (full integration), but NinjaTrader mobile app is incompatible.
