You earn points three ways: passing Test evaluations (250 points), withdrawing profits from PRO accounts (500 points per $1,000), and spending money on the platform (1 point per dollar spent).
These points convert to wallet credits at approximately 100 points = $1, which you redeem for platform purchases. The tier system (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) unlocks better conversion rates, bonus point multipliers, and exclusive perks as you accumulate lifetime points. Three Ways to Earn Points
Method 1: Pass Test Evaluations
What you do: Successfully complete any Test evaluation and receive "Congratulations, you passed!" email
Points earned: 250 points per Test pass
Frequency: Once per Test (doesn't matter if it's $25K, $50K, $100K Test)
Value: 250 points = $2.50 in credits
Example:
You buy a $50K Test for $170/month. You pass after 2 months. You earn 250 points.
If you buy and pass 5 Tests in a year = 1,250 points = $12.50 in credits.
Why it's valuable: You're passing Tests anyway to get PRO accounts. The 250 points is a pure bonus on top of your Test purchase. It's effectively 1.47% cashback on Test subscriptions.
Pro tip: If you reset a Test and pass again, you earn another 250 points. Some traders intentionally reset Tests (after passing) to farm points, though this only makes sense if you're confident you'll pass again quickly.
Method 2: Withdraw Profits from PRO Accounts
What you do: Request a withdrawal from your PRO account to your wallet or bank
Points earned: 500 points per $1,000 withdrawn
Frequency: Every withdrawal (can be multiple per month)
Value: 500 points per $1K = $5 in credits per $1K withdrawal
Example:
You make $3,500 in PRO over 2 months. You withdraw $2,800 (80% of $3,500). You earn:
$2,800 ÷ 1,000 = 2.8 × 500 = 1,400 points
That's $14 in credit value just from withdrawing your own profits.
If you withdraw $10,000 in a year: 5,000 points = $50 in credits
If you withdraw $25,000 across multiple PRO accounts: 12,500 points = $125 in credits
Why it's valuable: This is the BEST point-earning method because PRO withdrawals are the whole point of prop trading. You're earning credits on money you already made. It's 0.5% cashback on all PRO profits.
Pro tip: During promotional periods, withdrawal points can be 2× or 3×. A $1,000 withdrawal during 2× promo = 1,000 points instead of 500. If TPT announces a promo, delay your withdrawals by a week to maximize points.
Method 3: Spend Money on the Platform
What you do: Purchase anything on TakeProfitTrader (Test subscriptions, resets, PRO activation, PRO resets)
Points earned: 1 point per $1 spent
Frequency: Every purchase
Value: 100 points = $1 credit = 1% cashback
Example:
You spend $170 on a Test subscription = 170 pointsYou spend $100 on a Test reset = 100 points
You spend $549 on a PRO reset = 549 points
Total spent: $819 → 819 points = $8.19 in credits
Why it's the weakest earning method: You're paying $100 to earn $1 back. This is just 1% cashback. Every other credit card offers better cashback than this.
The only value: If you're spending money on TPT anyway (subscriptions, resets), might as well get 1% back. But don't spend money JUST to earn points—that's financially backwards.
The Four-Tier System

Important: Lifetime Points vs Current Balance
Your tier is based on lifetime points earned, not your current balance.
Example:
You've earned 30,000 points total over 2 years. You've redeemed 20,000 for credits. Your current balance is 10,000 points.
Your tier: Gold (based on 30,000 lifetime earned)
Even though you only have 10K points right now, you still get Gold tier benefits because you earned 30K historically.
Why this matters: You can redeem points aggressively without worrying about losing tier status. Once you hit Gold, you stay Gold even if you redeem back down to zero points.

Bronze Tier (Default)
What you get:
- Standard point earning (250 per Test, 500 per $1K withdrawal, 1 per $1 spent)

Silver Tier
How to qualify: Earn 10,000 lifetime points OR spend $1,000 total
Timeline to reach:
- Pass 2 Tests + withdraw $10K from PRO = 500 + 5,000 = 5,500 points (halfway there)
- Pass 4 Tests + withdraw $15K + spend $1,500 = 1,000 + 7,500 + 1,500 = 10,000 points ✓

- Priority support email responses (12-24 hours instead of 24-48)

Value of 5% bonus: If you redeem for 3 Tests in a year (51,000 points at base rate), Silver saves you 2,550 points = $25.50 value
Gold Tier
How to qualify: Earn 25,000 lifetime points OR spend $2,500 total
Timeline to reach:
- Pass 5 Tests = 1,250 points
- Withdraw $40K total from PRO = 20,000 points

- Total: 24,750 points (almost there after ~12-18 months of active trading)

My take: Platinum is really for traders running 4-5 PRO accounts full-time. If you're at that level, the 15% bonus and dedicated support are genuinely useful. If you're running 1-2 PRO accounts casually, don't obsess over reaching Platinum.
Points Redemption Options
Once you've accumulated points, here's what you can redeem for:
Strategic redemption priority:
- 17,000 points → Free Test (highest value, enables income generation)

Common Rewards System Mistakes
Mistake 1: Redeeming too early
You hit 1,000 points and immediately redeem for $10. You get minimal value and reset your accumulation progress.
Fix: Set a minimum threshold (10K or 17K) and don't redeem until you hit it.
Mistake 2: Not tracking lifetime points for tier qualification
