What I like / could be better

What I like

  • PTV has a first-hand record of 12 evaluations, 9 passes and two paid payout cycles
  • Model-specific help owners document key Daily and Bolt mechanics
  • Current operator and agent roles are disclosed on the public site

What could be better

  • Final prices and temporary promotions remain checkout-sensitive.
  • The current restricted-country owner is extensive and includes temporary EEA and UK limits.
  • Two first-hand paid cycles cannot establish universal payout assurance.

Is FundedSeat worth considering?

Yes, if one of its five current account types fits your risk and payout plan. FundedSeat currently sells Daily Ultra, Daily, Sprint, Instant Direct and Instant Bolt. Flex and Daily Pro are discontinued and should not be mixed into a current comparison.

The names are not cosmetic. Each route can change the drawdown, consistency requirement, payout gate and available account sizes. A rule published for Daily is not a safe answer for Sprint, Bolt, Direct or Ultra.

I bought 12 FundedSeat evaluations, passed nine and received two payouts, one in May 2026 and one in June 2026. That is meaningful first-hand evidence for my account journey. It is not proof that I tested every current product or that every future request will be approved.

What makes FundedSeat interesting is not one universal headline rule. It is the range between evaluation-based and instant routes, together with payout mechanics that can suit very different trading styles. That range is useful only when each answer stays tied to a product, size and stage.

My verdict: FundedSeat has earned a place on my tested shortlist. The firm paid me twice and my overall account journey was positive. I would still choose the exact account from its funded-stage loss and payout rules, then verify the current checkout before paying.

What I personally tested at FundedSeat

I bought 12 FundedSeat evaluations, passed nine and received two payouts. The payouts completed in May and June 2026. Those are the exact public boundaries of my current FundedSeat record.

A nine-out-of-twelve pass count is not a promised pass rate. It describes my own attempts, sizing and market conditions. The two completed payouts show that the withdrawal path worked for me twice; they do not guarantee another trader's outcome or the processing time of a new request.

What held up in my accounts

The purchase-to-evaluation flow, the account access and the transition into payout eligibility were usable in my accounts. I did not encounter a rejected payout in the two completed cycles. That experience is strong enough for me to distinguish FundedSeat from a research-only listing.

What my record does not prove

I have not personally traded every current product, every size, every platform or every payout ordinal. FundedSeat has changed its catalog, and a positive result on one account version cannot verify a newer Daily Ultra, Bolt or Direct rule. The structured account comparison therefore uses current official owners instead of stretching my personal history beyond its scope.

What I would do differently now

I would choose the funded-stage loss and payout model before looking at the evaluation target. I would then save the product name, size, purchase date, platform, checkout and rule page with the account. That makes later changes visible and prevents a condition from one route being applied to another.

I would also keep my own daily stop comfortably inside the firm limit. My goal would be to reach a payout with enough margin for commissions, slippage and an operational mistake, not to use every dollar of the published drawdown.

Which FundedSeat account should you choose?

FundedSeat currently sells five account types: 1-Step Daily Ultra, 1-Step Daily, 1-Step Sprint, Instant Direct and Instant Bolt. The Help Center keeps 1-Step Flex and 1-Step Daily Pro in a separate discontinued-model collection, so I do not show them as current purchase options.

The differences matter after purchase. Daily and Sprint have an evaluation before the simulated funded stage. Direct and Bolt start at the simulated funded stage. Daily Ultra adds a separate 80% payout route, selectable evaluation consistency and an optional daily loss limit.

The account size alone is not enough to compare value. A cheaper route can be a poor fit if its later payout target, consistency condition or daily loss control conflicts with the way you trade. I compare the funded-stage mechanics first, then work backwards to the evaluation.

Use the account comparison above for the selected size, stage and payout cycle. FundedSeat says purchases are one-time fees with no rebilling, but the final price, reset cost and temporary promotion still belong to checkout. I would save that checkout together with the exact model owner because offers and account names can change.

Which FundedSeat model fits your trading plan?

There is no single best FundedSeat account. As of September 5, 2026, the five current models solve different problems, and the correct choice depends more on the funded-stage constraints than on the advertised account balance.

Daily Ultra: flexibility around the first payout

Daily Ultra is the distinct 80% split route. It has no funded payout-consistency rule in the current owner, uses a $250 minimum request and makes the first payout mandatory at a size-specific balance threshold. Requesting that first payout locks the drawdown at the starting balance plus $100. During the evaluation, you choose a 26% or 35% best-day rule and can add a daily loss limit.

Daily: buffer-led daily withdrawals

Daily uses an evaluation, then a simulated-funded account with a size-specific buffer, minimum and maximum request. It has a 90% split and no funded consistency rule in the current owner. I would choose it when I prefer a familiar evaluation path and can keep the buffer untouched while building the next request.

Sprint: easier evaluation, stricter first withdrawal

Sprint removes an evaluation consistency rule, but the first funded payout uses 25% consistency and retains a size-specific buffer. That makes it attractive to pass quickly, but not automatically the easiest route to monetize. Judge it from the first withdrawal backwards.

Direct and Bolt: instant access with different payout math

Direct and Bolt begin at the simulated-funded stage. Direct has no payout consistency or buffer, but requires fresh profit equal to 5% of the starting balance and limits the largest grouped trade idea to 15% of profit. Bolt also requires that 5% profit and applies 20% consistency to the first payout; later requests remove that consistency rule.

My shortcut is simple: choose Ultra for its distinct payout route, Daily for a buffer-led evaluation path, Sprint only if its first-payout math fits, and an instant model only if the 5% fresh-profit requirement is realistic for the drawdown you receive.

Which FundedSeat rules matter before you trade?

Start with the selected account and stage, not with a generic FundedSeat rule list. The current model owners document End-of-Day trailing drawdown, but the daily loss control, evaluation consistency and payout gate can change between Daily Ultra, Daily, Sprint, Direct and Bolt.

The drawdown can eventually lock at the starting balance plus $100, yet the path to that lock and the surrounding controls still depend on the model. Daily Ultra can be configured with or without a daily loss limit; Daily, Sprint, Direct and Bolt carry their own stage- and size-specific versions.

Restrictions that cut across the catalog

FundedSeat prohibits bots or algorithmic trading, cross-account hedging, arbitrage, gap and high-frequency trading, simultaneous mini/micro trading, account or device sharing and normal VPN use. Microscalping may not generate the majority of total profit. These are behavioral restrictions, not numbers you can solve by selecting a larger account.

The practical rule hierarchy

I treat the current product owner as the first source, the general Help Center rule as a cross-product boundary and the dashboard as the account-state check. If those three disagree, I would stop and ask support before placing the next trade or requesting a payout.

Open FundedSeat's current model collection, then select the same model, size and stage in the comparison above.

What changes after you pass a FundedSeat evaluation?

Passing does not freeze the evaluation rules. The account moves into a different stage, and that stage can change the daily loss limit, news window, inactivity requirement, payout conditions and which balance must stay in the account.

Risk controls can become tighter

Daily and Sprint add size-specific daily loss controls in the simulated-funded stage. Daily Ultra can carry its optional daily loss limit in both stages. Every current model uses an End-of-Day trailing maximum drawdown in the structured record, but the user should still select the exact stage because the surrounding controls are not identical.

The activity clock changes

The current owners require at least one trade every 20 days during an evaluation. A simulated-funded account instead requires at least one trade in each Monday-to-Friday week. A trader who pauses after passing can therefore breach an inactivity condition sooner than expected.

The target becomes a withdrawal plan

An evaluation asks whether you can reach a profit target without violating the rules. The next stage asks whether your profit distribution, buffer and account balance satisfy a particular payout request. Sprint's first-payout consistency, Daily's buffer and the instant models' fresh-profit conditions are examples of that shift.

I would treat the pass as a reset of the checklist. Save the funded agreement, select the funded stage above and rebuild the plan from the new drawdown, daily control, activity rule and first-payout gate before placing the first trade.

Which FundedSeat platform should you use?

Choose the data feed first. FundedSeat's current list routes WealthCharts, DeepCharts and TradingView through dxFeed, while Tradesea and R Trader Pro use Rithmic.

The same official page lists Quantower and ATAS for dxFeed, plus EdgePro X, Finamark, MotiveWave, Sierra Chart, VolFix, Quantower and Bookmap for Rithmic. Some third-party platforms need their own license or support relationship.

I would start with the platform FundedSeat directly supplies, confirm symbol mapping, commissions and flatten behavior, then connect another front end only if the workflow needs it. NinjaTrader and Tradovate are explicitly not supported in the current platform list.

Before paying, confirm that the chosen account, feed and front end appear together in the current checkout.

Can you trade news, hold overnight or automate at FundedSeat?

News trading is possible on most current paths, but overnight holding and automated execution are not. The exception that needs special attention is Daily Ultra after funding.

News rules depend on the model and stage

Daily, Sprint, Instant Direct and Instant Bolt currently allow news trading in their documented stages. Daily Ultra allows it during the evaluation, but its simulated-funded owner requires no open position or order from one minute before to one minute after high-impact USD news. That is exactly the kind of stage change a generic FAQ can hide.

Positions must be flat for the daily close

The current Daily, Sprint, Direct and Bolt owners require positions to be closed before 4:59 PM Eastern Time and say remaining positions are auto-closed then. Daily Ultra uses an earlier 4:50 PM cutoff and resumes trading after 6:00 PM. None of those routes is a fit for a strategy that needs to hold through the futures maintenance break.

Bots and several execution patterns are prohibited

FundedSeat prohibits bots or algorithmic trading, arbitrage, cross-account hedging, gap and high-frequency trading, account or device sharing and normal VPN use. It also restricts simultaneous mini/micro trading and says microscalping cannot produce the majority of total profit.

If your edge depends on automation, overnight exposure or trading every high-impact release without a position blackout, I would not try to interpret around the rules. Choose a firm and account whose official owner explicitly supports that workflow.

How should you choose and trade a FundedSeat account?

Choose the loss model before the account size

The nominal balance is not the usable risk budget. Compare the exact account's trailing method, lock point and daily controls, then size from the available drawdown.

Separate evaluation and payout conditions

A route can be straightforward to pass and still impose a funded consistency rule, buffer or payout cap. Build the plan from the later stage instead of optimizing only for the evaluation target.

Keep every product scoped

Do not transfer a Daily rule to Sprint, Direct, Bolt or Ultra. Save the product name, account size, purchase date, platform and current official rule page with the checkout.

Use a personal stop

I would risk a fraction of the remaining drawdown and stop before the firm limit. That leaves room for commissions, slippage and operational mistakes instead of treating the breach threshold as a normal daily budget.

Plan the withdrawal before trading

Record the consistency calculation, minimum balance or buffer, request amount and timing for the selected route. The expected payout path belongs in the product decision, not as a surprise after passing.

Review the account after every material event

A pass, payout request, reconciliation or rule update can change which number matters next. I would re-open the selected setup after each event instead of assuming the evaluation dashboard still describes the funded account.

How should you plan a FundedSeat payout?

Build the payout plan before the first trade. FundedSeat's headline cadence can be daily, but eligibility still depends on the selected model's buffer, consistency, fresh-profit requirement, request range and reconciliation state.

Start with the first request

Daily Ultra makes its first payout mandatory at a size-specific threshold and then locks drawdown at the starting balance plus $100. Daily requires the size-specific buffer to remain in the account. Sprint adds 25% consistency to its first request. Bolt uses 20% consistency for the first request, while Direct replaces consistency with a 15% largest-trade-idea condition.

Do not assume the second request is identical

Sprint and Bolt remove the first-payout consistency rule after the first cycle. Daily and Sprint require fresh profit after reconciliation. Direct and Bolt require profit equal to 5% of starting balance between requests. A dashboard that says a request is available still needs to be checked against the current model owner.

Protect the amount that keeps the account alive

A payout maximum is not the same thing as freely withdrawable equity. I would calculate the balance after the request, confirm the locked drawdown or retained buffer and leave a personal operating cushion above the published minimum. That reduces the chance that one normal losing session ends the account immediately after a payout.

What my two payouts tell me

My May and June 2026 payouts show that I completed the path twice. They do not turn one model's conditions into a firm-wide promise. For a new purchase, the current account comparison and official owner take precedence over my historical cycle.

Is FundedSeat legitimate?

My evidence is stronger than a third-party reputation score: I bought 12 evaluations, passed nine and received two payouts in May and June 2026. That proves two completed outcomes in my own record.

The current legal disclosure separates the roles. FT Imperium Ltd in Sofia is named as operator and contractual counterparty. Cygnus Software Solutions LLC in Wyoming is described as a payment and marketing agent. Those entities should not be collapsed into one operator.

What I count as positive evidence

The firm delivered accounts I could trade, nine of my evaluations reached a pass and two withdrawal cycles completed. The Help Center also gives current product owners for the five purchase models instead of forcing every rule into one generic page. Those are useful signals because they can be checked against an actual account journey.

What remains counterparty risk

Two payouts do not remove rule-change, platform, enforcement or business-continuity risk. A prop account is still a contractual service, not a bank deposit or investment account. I would keep the checkout, agreement, model rules, dashboard values and payout correspondence for every purchase.

External review platforms can surface patterns worth investigating, but their scores do not adjudicate an individual case. FundedSeat is credible enough for my tested list; it is not a reason to skip model-level checks or concentrate all prop-firm exposure in one operator.

How does FundedSeat compare with other futures prop firms?

FundedSeat's clearest differentiator is the range of one-time-purchase paths. The five current models cover evaluation and instant routes, but that breadth also creates more decision work than a firm with one main account family.

I would compare the selected route with an equivalent account at Tradeify, Lucid Trading, Topstep or TakeProfitTrader. The relevant competitor is the one that matches stage, usable drawdown, payout gate and platform, not the one with the closest nominal account size.

Where FundedSeat can win

It can be the better fit when a specific Daily, Sprint, Direct, Bolt or Ultra route lines up with your trading frequency and payout plan, and when one-time billing matters more than a recurring evaluation subscription. The supplied dxFeed and Rithmic choices also cover several workflows without pretending every front end is supported.

Where a rival can win

A narrower catalog can be easier to understand and monitor. Another firm may also have a longer operating record, a platform you already use, fewer stage changes or a payout rule that fits your distribution of winning days more naturally.

Do not compare FundedSeat's cheapest headline with a different product type elsewhere. Match the purchase model, activation or reset charges, stage, drawdown, daily control, consistency, payout gate, split and platform before deciding.

Who should skip FundedSeat?

Skip FundedSeat if your strategy conflicts with its non-negotiable operating rules or if you want one simple rule set that stays unchanged across every stage. The catalog is a strength for deliberate buyers and a liability for anyone who chooses from the headline price alone.

It is a poor fit for overnight or automated strategies

The current routes require positions to be closed for the daily break, and bots or algorithmic trading are prohibited. NinjaTrader and Tradovate are also explicitly unsupported. If one of those requirements is central to your setup, a discount or one-time fee does not repair the mismatch.

It is a poor fit if payout math changes your strategy

Sprint, Bolt and Direct each place a different condition on the first or repeated withdrawal. Daily retains a buffer, and Ultra has its own threshold and 80% split. A trader with highly concentrated winning days should calculate these gates before buying instead of trying to reshape the strategy after passing.

It is a poor fit if you will not maintain account records

Five current models, several sizes, add-ons and stage transitions create many valid combinations. If you do not want to save the rule owner, checkout and current stage, a firm with a narrower account menu may be easier to operate safely.

I would also skip any prop-firm purchase when the fee is money you cannot afford to lose. My positive experience and two payouts do not change the basic risk that an evaluation can fail, a rule can change or a firm can stop operating.

Frequently asked questions

Who operates FundedSeat?

FT Imperium Ltd in Sofia is the disclosed operator and contractual counterparty. Cygnus Software Solutions LLC in Wyoming is described as a payment and marketing agent, so I do not present the two entities as one operator.

Does FundedSeat rebill a purchase?

No. The current billing owner says purchases are one-time payments with no rebilling. I would still verify the checkout total, any reset charge and the duration of a promotion before paying.

Have I received FundedSeat payouts?

Yes. I received two FundedSeat payouts, one in May 2026 and one in June 2026. That proves those two completed outcomes in my own account history, not a guaranteed result for a future request.

Which platforms does FundedSeat provide directly?

The current platform owner lists WealthCharts, DeepCharts and TradingView through dxFeed, plus Tradesea and R Trader Pro through Rithmic. It also lists bounded third-party connections that may require a separate license or support relationship.

Can I use TradingView with FundedSeat?

Yes, TradingView is listed as a FundedSeat-provided dxFeed option. Confirm that the selected account, data feed and TradingView connection appear together at checkout before relying on it.

Does FundedSeat support NinjaTrader or Tradovate?

No. The current supported-platform owner explicitly says NinjaTrader and Tradovate are not supported. I would not buy an account expecting an undocumented workaround.

Can FundedSeat traders hold positions overnight?

No current route is documented for holding through the daily futures break. Daily, Sprint, Direct and Bolt require positions closed before 4:59 PM Eastern Time; Daily Ultra uses a 4:50 PM cutoff and resumes after 6:00 PM.

Can FundedSeat traders trade high-impact news?

It depends on the product and stage. Daily, Sprint, Direct and Bolt currently allow news trading. Daily Ultra allows it in the evaluation, but the simulated-funded stage requires no open positions or orders from one minute before to one minute after high-impact USD news.

What counts as inactivity at FundedSeat?

The current model owners require at least one trade every 20 days during an evaluation. A simulated-funded account requires at least one trade in each Monday-to-Friday week, so the activity clock becomes tighter after passing.

Are bots or automated strategies allowed at FundedSeat?

No. FundedSeat prohibits bots or algorithmic trading. Its published restrictions also cover arbitrage, cross-account hedging, gap and high-frequency trading, account or device sharing and normal VPN use.

Which countries does FundedSeat restrict?

FundedSeat publishes a residence-based restriction owner with temporary EEA and UK limits plus specific citizenship, travel and Pakistan-pilot notes. Because access can change, use the current official list rather than an old country table before purchase.
