Alpha Futures KYC Process: Documents Needed for Payout

Alpha Futures requires KYC verification before issuing Qualified Trader Accounts or processing performance fee payouts. Complete KYC anytime—even before passing evaluation—but you cannot sign your contract or pay activation fee until verification clears.

The process takes 5-10 minutes to submit and up to 48 hours for compliance review. Most submissions approve same-day if documents meet requirements.

Required Documents

Government-Issued Photo ID: Valid driver's license, passport, or government ID card (current, not expired).

Alpha does NOT accept paper IDs, permits (learner's, temporary, etc.), expired documents, or damaged IDs.

ID must clearly show full name, date of birth, photo, and document number. Obscured or unreadable information = rejection.

Live Selfie: After uploading ID, take a selfie through the platform for facial matching.

Requirements: Taken live (no uploaded photos), clear and well-lit, full face visible (no sunglasses/hats/masks), matches ID appearance.

How to Complete KYC

1. Log into Alpha Futures account
2. Navigate to Profile → KYC
3. Find Veriff section, click "Verify"
4. Follow on-screen instructions

Veriff walks you through: selecting ID type, uploading/photographing ID, taking selfie, confirming submission.

Processing: Up to 48 hours. Most clean submissions approve within 4-12 hours. Weekend submissions may take longer.

Critical KYC Rules

Personal completion required: Account holder must personally complete KYC. Third-party involvement violates terms and can cause account closure.

No VPN/VPS: Using VPN or Virtual Private Server during verification leads to automatic rejection and potentially account closure. Alpha tracks IP addresses and device fingerprints. Disable VPN completely before starting KYC.

Document quality matters: Blurry photos, poor lighting, glare, or partially visible information cause rejection. Use good lighting, avoid flash on laminated IDs, ensure all four corners visible, use plain dark background for contrast.

When to Complete KYC

Best timing: Complete immediately after purchasing first evaluation. Avoids delays when you pass.

Required before: Signing contract, paying activation fee, receiving funded credentials, processing payouts.

You can trade evaluations without KYC, but cannot progress to funded status until verification clears.

What Happens If KYC Fails

If you cannot pass KYC screening, you're ineligible for Qualified Trader Account. Alpha issues full refund for passed or active evaluations.

Regulatory compliance requires verified identity for all funded traders. Can't verify = can't trade funded accounts.

KYC Support and Troubleshooting

Technical issues: Contact Alpha support before retrying. Multiple failed attempts flag your account for additional review.

Support: Email (support@alpha-futures.com), Discord, Live Chat. Response: 2-4 hours during US Eastern business hours.

Common fixes:

• ID rejected: All corners visible, no glare, not expired
• Selfie doesn't match: Similar lighting to ID, face camera directly
• VPN detected: Disable VPN/proxy completely, restart browser
